Entering Belgium

A quick post about entering Belgium - again, the ride was great, on small country roads along canals and farms. And entering Belgium was a breeze. No border, no customs, nothing. If not for the smell of waffles in the air, we may not even have known we were in Belgium!

We are now in Brugges, which is a very beautiful but very touristy city. It is famous for its canal-lined inner-city and its historic church at the very center.

Hey David and Jodie,
I'm loving your blog- great photos and dialogue. Your trip sounds incredible but I'm not surprised by your discoveries. Holland really is a cyclist's dream and we both wished for bikes when we visited there. John and I hope you tried the Trappist beer in Belgium- delicious! France must be your next destination- enjoy every minute. I hope the trains are coming in useful too. I'll miss you to at MS150 this weekend- you've probably done 10 times that by now!

Take care,

Bunty

Hey you guys- hope all is well. We survived MS 150 for another year and did really well coming in by noon on Sunday. Mark, Sarah, (former student) and I rode together and Joe, of course, took the lead. Grandma says hello from Moose Lake where we are this week. Take care and put some pictures up soon!
