Brief updates

Hello all - sorry for the long delay in posting, we've just been on the move and haven't had time to keep up with our blogging duties! Hopefully we'll get caught up soon.

A brief recap: In Belgium we stayed in Bruges for a few days, then biked north to Oostende and down through Diksmuide to Ypres, where we stayed for two nights and suffered a rather unfortunate incident involving ants and one of David's bike bags. Then on into France, where we stayed near Lille and then took a train to Cherbourg. Great biking in Normandy, we went down the east coast to visit Utah Beach, then across the pennisula, south through Granville and a stop in Dinan. We then went on into Bretagne and had a great stay with some of David's relatives in Pontivy, and were able to do a few car trips the south coast of Bretagne and to Pointe du Raz. We then biked to Vannes and caught a train down to Nice, where we are now.

Within the next few days we are hoping to do a bit of biking on the Cote D'Azur around St. Raphael and Cannes, and then on into Italy.
